The founder of the Company, Bob Molleur, first began working in the industry some 41 years ago cutting rights of way for power line projects and for the Interstate highway system here in Vermont. Seeking greater opportunity Bob left Vermont and was employed by a company that had major utility installation projects in the Mid-West. Missing the Green Mountains, Bob returned home and established the initial Company with just one employee.

Over the years the Company has offered a wide range of services including pole installation, running wire, building sub stations, and cutting / maintaining rights of way. In addition some work has been done for the telephone companies in the area. The Company has grown and gone through a number of changes over the years, the most recent of which took place in 2003 - 2004. This is when Bob's sons came into the business full time to manage it after working in, and learning, the business for more than 14 years.

In 2004 the decision was made to specialize in Vegetation Management, the practice of maintaining power line rights of way as well as clear cutting new rights of way. As one might assume the predominant client base has been utility companies and the area served has expanded over the years to include Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts and New York. The Company has also cut boundaries along the US - Canadian Border.

Employees include certified Arborists and Foresters. A highly qualified in house training program is utilized to keep the staff working to the highest standards, both in performance and safety. In addition to the scope of work performed by the Company, various working relationships exist with organizations that can be brought into a joint venture to supply any and all expertise and staff required for negotiating, planning, engineering, construction and maintenance of power or communication projects as well as both hydro and wind power.
